I would like to see what others have to say about Meucci cues and their black dot shafts. I am looking to purchase a new cue and it is either a Meucci or a McDermott.

We stopped purchasing Meucci cues months ago. This decision was based on many issues:
Lack of support and response to orders placed and customer issues
Black dot shafts that were falling apart
Not meeting our standards of quality
Our feeling that they were not acting in good faith to their distributors
... I could add to the above, but will refrain

That was about as honest an answer as I have ever seen a business make. Thank you for your honesty and I guess McDermott will be my choice.

I have owned both Muecci and McDermott- the issues with Muecci have always been of quality. As of late they are having a great deal of the mill-work done overseas. I have owned many Mcdermotts as well and the hit on the newer cues are IMO better than the older ones. Elvis
